Hello,
I'm Emilie K. Adin
I'm a registered professional planner, the President of the Planning Institute of British Columbia, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, within the School of Community and Regional Planning. Recently recognized by BIV Magazine as one of the 500 Most Influential Leaders in British Columbia, I'm currently writing The Urban Curious Guide to Europe (working title) and due to complete a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction at King’s College in May 2025. My writing has appeared in many newspapers and magazines, including The Globe and Mail, Spacing, Planetizen, Herizons, and Plan Canada Magazine. I've also led a number of innovative and award-winning planning projects, which have inspired communities across the Province and across the country.
